Ningbo Vanion Interior Design | Retail and Market | China

This interior design effort focused on two retail spaces within a larger mixed-use waterfront development. The Market (Retail) Hall focused on authenticity of materials. The design aesthetic was a combination of exposed structure, re-purposed materials, and found objects in order to create a unique environment to host street artists, vendors, and retail tenants. The Main hall (Indoor mall) took design cues from the history of the site. This space was formed from the remains of a historic shed found on the site, which was thoughtfully refurbished to create a warm and inviting food hall and gathering space within the mall. I completed floor plans, sketchup models, and oversaw rendering efforts on the project.
