Rawbar | Restaurant Interior Design | Indianapolis, Indiana
This Rawbar project was not only an interior design of a unique, historical space in downtown Indianapolis, it was also an exercise in creating a brand identity for a new restaurant concept. Chef Andrew Gruel, the creator and founder of the “Slapfish” restaurant franchise, wanted to create an elevated oyster bar adjacent to an existing Slapfish location. Our team worked closely with the client from the initial space plan all the way through detailed furniture and finish selections to create a truly unique and upscale dining experience. The space has a lounge-like quality while still maintaining an energetic dining ambiance. A subtle and contemporary nautical theme can be seen in the finishes, fixtures, and artwork, which were thoughtfully chosen to create both an exceptional design and a unique experience for visitors.
